BANGOR, Maine – The Husson University women's soccer team continued their homestand on Wednesday evening with a 1-0 loss to the Mules of Colby College at Boucher Field.
The Mules controlled the majority of the contest as the Eagles' defense held the Mules to just five shots on goal out of their 24 shots. The lone goal for the NESCAC school came in the 22nd minute when Pepper Joseph scored directly from a corner kick.
The Eagles managed to a couple of chances, but were unable to find the equalizer as the Mules won the contest by a single goal.
The women's soccer team take on another NESCAC school on Sunday when Bates College comes to town for a 3:00 p.m. non-conference kickoff at Boucher Field.
