BIDDEFORD, Maine — The Husson University volleyball team fell to the University of New England 3-0 on the road Monday evening in non-conference action. 
 
Husson (0-5) fell 25-19 in the opening set to UNE (3-2) before dropping the second frame 25-15 and third set 25-17. 
 
Freshman Janna Preskorn led the Eagles with nine kills on the evening while junior Cam Schweitzer added seven kills. 

Junior Alyvia McIntyre tallied 20 assists and junior Beatrice Tursi recorded eight digs. 
 
The Eagles will look to bounce back on Thursday when they host Saint Joseph's College of Maine at 6 p.m. for their Dig Pink Game.
