WATERVILLE, Maine — The Husson University women's track & field team put together an impressive performance on day 1 of the North Atlantic Conference Outdoor Champions at Colby College capped off by freshman Angelina Cotoni claiming the pole vault title

Cotoni cleared 2.80 meters to earn the title as the Eagles went 1, 2, 3 in the pole vault. Senior Willow Whitten cleared 2.20 meters to finish as the conference runner up, while fellow senior Isabelle Jackson tied Whitten's mark of 2.20 meters to finish third.

Both Jackson and Cotoni set new personal bests in the event, while Cotoni came close to breaking the program record of 2.90 meters set back in both 2014 and 2019.
