FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — The Husson University volleyball team dropped its regular-season finale 3-0 on the road against Framingham State University Wednesday evening.
Framingham State (17-10) managed to take the opening set 25-23 over Husson (7-15) before taking the final two frames 25-19.
Graduate student
Cheyenne Young led the Eagles with a team-high 10 kills, while junior
Alexa Beal added eight kills and freshman
Janna Preskorn tallied six.
Junior
Alyvia McIntyre finished with a game-high 28 assists, while recording a game-high 12 digs. Additionally, Young recorded 11 scoops, while Preskorn recorded three service aces and junior
Cam Schweitzer collected a game-high two blocks.
Husson will now turn its attention to the North Atlantic Conference East Division Tournament on Saturday when it battles Vermont State University Johnson at 3 p.m. in Castine, Maine.
