BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University women's swimming & diving team hosted the third annual Husson Relay meet on Saturday morning inside Webber Pool. The Eagles completed against the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners, Saint Joseph's College of Maine Monks, the University of New England Nor'easters and the University of Maine Club Swimming team.

In the 200-yard butterfly relay, the combination of Payson, Soutter, Gray and Hand touched the wall second (2:04.62), while Winslow, Poulin, freshman
Isabella Cost, and junior
Kat Christensen finished sixth (2:29.74).
Rocheleau and Madden swam with Husson men's swimming & diving team members of junior Hunter Jackson and junior Nathan Gilliam to win the mixed 400-yard medley relay with a time of 4:00.12. The team of sophomores Alex Walsh and Ryan Emerson of the men's team swam with Payson and R. Hand to take the runner-up honors in the event with a time of 4:10.67.
The group of Winslow, Gray, Christensen and Cost placed eighth in the 200-yard freestyle relay (2:05.26).
Sophomore
Riley Mahoney won the six-dive one-meter optionals with 182.20 points, while sophomore
Lily Butler took fourth with 140.45. In the 4x100-yard individual medley relay, R. Hand, Madden, Soutter and Payson won the event (4:42.94).
In the 200-yard backstroke relay, the team of Rocheleau, Payson, Madden and R. Hand won the event with a time of 2:04.55. Winslow, Soutter, Cost and Poulin placed fifth with a time of 2:19.67.
In the 200-yard breastroke relay, Rochelau, Madden, Gray and Christensen placed sixth (2:53.91).
The Eagles ended the third annual Husson Relay Meet by winning the mixed 400-yard freestyle relay event, while having relay teams finish fifth and tenth in the event as well. The team of Emerson, sophomore Brady Hand, Payson and R. Hand won the event with a time of 3:39.20. The group of Walsh, junior Isaias Therio, Madden and Poulin had the fifth best time of the event with a 3:54.61, while sophomore Jacob Brown, Jackson, Christensen and Cost finished tenth with a 4:20.70.
Husson returns to the pool on Sunday, Oct. 29 for a 11 a.m. dual meet with the Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut.
