BANGOR, Maine — The Husson University field hockey team scored early and often in its 9-0 non-conference victory over the University of Maine at Farmington on Saturday.
Husson (6-5) tallied two goals in the opening quarter to take a commanding 2-0 lead over the Beavers and never looked back. Senior

Maddie Perkins for the Eagles first score and Perkins rattled the cage for Husson's second goal of the quarter.
Sophomore
Abbie Ross netted back-to-back goals for the Eagles to open the second quarter, the first off, an assist by freshman
Faith Tillotson and the second from senior
Phoebe Carlock to open up a 4-0 lead at the break.
Perkins tallied her second goal of the game in the third quarter and connected on her third score just second later to push Husson's advantage to 6-0.
Sophomore
Maddie Arsenault got in on the scoring action in the fourth quarter off an assist by freshman
Rory McGinley, while sophomore Lauren Brown scored from Perkins and junior
Taryn Crummett all added goals in the first quarter to run the Eagles score to 9-0.
Husson finished with 42 shots and 18 shots on goal, while recording an impressive 21 penalty corners on the day.
The Eagles are back in action on Sunday when they host Wells College at noon for senior day in the final regular season NAC matchup.
