WATERVILLE, Maine — The Husson University field hockey team benefited from a four-goal second half on Saturday to come away with a 4-2 North Atlantic Conference decision over Thomas College.
Husson (5-5, 3-0 NAC) and Thomas (8-7, 1-1 NAC) remained scoreless through the opening 30 minutes of Saturday's conference showdown before senior

Tessa Capozzoli just over a minute later for her second assist to increase the Eagles lead to 2-0.
Sophomore
Maddie Perkins found the back of the cage also in the third quarter to give Husson a 3-0 edge and the eventual game-winning score.
The Terriers pulled within 3-1 of the Eagles midway through the third quarter, but Perkins tallied her second goal of the quarter to put Husson back up 4-1.
Thomas managed to add an early fourth-quarter goal, but the damage had been done in the third quarter as Husson iced the final minutes to earn the 4-2 decision.
Freshman
Maria Levesque played the entire 60 minutes in net for the Eagles allowing just two goals and recording seven saves.
Husson will now host the University of Maine at Farmington on Saturday at Noon.
