BANGOR, Maine — The Husson University field hockey team dropped a 6-2 non-conference decision at home to Colby College on Sunday.

Maddie Perkins.
Colby (3-6) knotted the match at 1-1 with a goal in in the final minutes of the first quarter before benefiting from four goals in the second quarter to carry a 5-1 advantage into the halftime break.
The Mules added another goal in the opening minutes of the third quarter to extend their lead to 6-1.
The Eagles broke Colby's 6-0 scoring run with Blackie's second goal of the game off another Perkins assist, but the second quarter proved to be the difference as Colby came away with the 6-2 win.
Next up for the Eagles a Tuesday non-conference matchup against Thomas College at home with start time scheduled for 7 p.m.
