MEDFORD, Mass. – Husson University swept a non-conference women's volleyball tri-match at Lesley University on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles opened with a 3-0 (25-5, 25-12, 25-7) triumph over the host Lynx and capped the day with a 3-2 (17-25, 21-25, 25-21, 29-27, 15-9) victory over New England College.

Julia Leavitt led Husson (4-7) with six kills, a block, three aces and three digs in the victory over Lesley. Sophomore

Adrienne Beatty delivered 17 of the Eagles' 27 aces in the match. Freshman
Delaney Gross recorded a game-high seven assists.
After falling two sets down to the Pilgrims, the Eagles completed their comeback victory on the hot swing of senior
Cheyenne Young who finished the match by notching a double-double with 27 kills and 14 digs. She also added two aces and three total blocks in the program's first victory over New England College in five years. McIntryre posted 46 assists, six aces and ten digs. Beal registered nine kills, two total blocks and three digs. Leavitt contributed nine kills, four aces, and 20 digs. Graduate Student

The Eagles return action on Wednesday, September 28th when they host the Owls of the University of Maine at Presque Isle to open up North Atlantic Conference East Division play. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
