LYNCHBURG, Va. — Sophomore Danny Carter and senior's Gunner McAllister and Jaden Wells combined for 12 goals and 16 points in Husson University men's lacrosse's 21-5 victory over Randolph College on Wednesday.

Husson (2-4) jumped out to a 4-0 advantage in the opening period thanks to back-to-back goals by junior Ben Huynh and net finders from Wells and senior Roman Dennis. 

McAllister opened the second period with back-to-back scores within the first minute, but Randolph (0-4) ended the Eagles 6-0 run with an unassisted goal. 

Freshman Nathan Vibber ansered the Wildcats goal with his second goal of the season, while Wells added two more goals and Carter and McAllister each found the back of the net before Randolph ended Husson's run to pull within 11-2 at the half. 

The third quarter would be all Eagles as well as they ran off a 7-2 scoring run to control an 18-4 edge heading into the final quarter. 

Huynh added his third and final goal in the quarter while senior Darryn Bailey got in on the scoring action with a goal off an assist from Wells. Carter would add two scores in the quarter including a man down net finder, while junior Matthew Boynton and McAllister tallied the remaining two goals. 

Bailey would find the net again in the fourth quarter along with Wells before junior Griffin Madore scored his lone goal of the contest to put the Eagles further in the drivers seat 21-5. 

Husson put up a barrage of shot attempts Wednesday firing 55 in total and landing 38 on frame. 

Senior Jacob Larochelle turned in a dominate performance on the faceoff winning 24 of 28 attempts while the Eagles scooped up 31 ground balls on the night. 

The Eagles now turn their attention to Averett University on Thursday with faceoff set for noon.
