Freshman Tyler Michaud cleared the bases with a double to drive in his first three collegiate runs.

In the second inning, the Gators earned their first run of the game thanks to a RBI-double from Leandro Guzman but the Eagles responded with their own RBI-double from Evans as the Eagles led 7-1 after two.

Scott continued his hot streak with a 2-run RBI-single in the fifth inning as the Eagles went on to win 10-3.

Freshman Connor Abood earned his first collegiate victory on the mound as he pitched five-plus innings and struck out eight. Freshman Matt Wallingford closed out the sixth inning with a strikeout then sophomore Ryan Robb struck out the side in the seventh.
