LYNDONVILLE, Vt. — The Husson University volleyball team rolled past Northern Vermont University-Lyndon on Saturday in North Atlantic Conference action to improve to 4-1 in conference.
Husson (9-8, 4-1 NAC) wasted little time on Saturday taking the first set 25-13 backed by a .278 opening set hitting percentage.
The Eagles continued their opening set momentum with another .278 hitting percentage in set two, this time beating NVU-Lyndon (0-19, 0-5 NAC) 25-8 to increase their advantage to 2-0.
The third set would also belong to the Husson as they beat the Hornets 25-13 in three-straight sets.
Sophomore
Julia Leavitt finished with a game-high eight kills, adding four service aces.
Senior
Cheyenne Young tallied seven kills and eight digs while hitting an impressive .462 for the match.
Sophomore
Alyvia McIntyre finished with a game-high 15 assists and nine service aces, while graduate student
Amber Lemay scooped up a game-high nine digs and sophomore
Beatrice Tursi hit .750 on the day with three kills.
The Eagles will look to further climb the conference standings on Sunday when they battle Northern Vermont University-Johnson on the road at 1 p.m.
