LYNDONVILLE, Vt. - For the third straight contest, the Husson University women's soccer team didn't allowed their opposition to attempt a single shot as they shutout Northern Vermont-Lyndon, 5-0, in North Atlantic Conference action on Saturday afternoon. 

The Eagles scored a goal in ten minute allotments for the first goals as senior Charlotte Messer opened the scoring in the 11th minute when she drove a free kick into the back of the net for her seventh goal of the season and fifth in three games. In the 21st minute, senior Camryn Rolfe put home her first goal of the season with a header off the Hornet's keeper before freshman Marila Corletto put home a goal from sophomore Sophia Mullins. Just before the break, sophomore Natalie Aviolla got her 13th of the season for a 4-0 halftime lead. 

The second half saw the Eagles attack non-stop in the second half as sophomore Madi Griffin scored her second collegiate goal while keeping a clean sheet for the defense. 

The regular season finale is on deck for the women's soccer team as they take on Maine Mairitme for senior day next Saturday at Boucher Field with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m.
