BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University women's soccer team (1-2-0) dropped a non-conference match to Colby (1-0-0), 3-0, at Boucher Field on Wednesday night.

The Mules, thanks to goals from Alessandra Marciano, Kerrie Verbeek, Chloe Schiff, took a 3-0 lead at halftime. 

In the second half, the Mules pummeled the Eagles' net with seven shots, but clean tackling from Emily Helgerson and Mackenzie Lambert as well as nice saves from Hannah Kenney kept the Mules scoreless in the second half. 

The Eagles will look to continue their defensive form from the last 45 minutes as they begin North Atlantic Conference play on Saturday, September 11th when they host UMaine-Farmington at 1:00 p.m.
