CASTINE, Maine - Shawn Ragaglia recorded a career-high 18 saves on Saturday night as the Eagles (0-2) were outscored by Maine Maritime (2-1), 13-6. 

IN THE ACTION:

Gunner McAllister put the Eagles on the board first, converting a man-up opportunity five minutes into the first quarter. Shortly after, Ben Huynh added a score stretching the visitors lead to two. Husson would maintain their two goal advantage for most of the first frame, before three straight tallies from MMA gave the home team a 3-2 lead. 

The Eagles opened the second quarter in similar fashion, as back-to-back goals from McAllister and Huynh put the Eagles back on top, 4-3. Maine Maritime would head on an 8-0 run, led by three scores from Zeke Tocci to take a commanding 11-4 lead. Despite two fourth quarter goals from McAllister, the Eagles were unable to claw back as MMA sailed to a 13-6 victory. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• McAllister scored a team-high four goals on eight shots while scooping up five ground balls. 

• Sawyer Watson led the Mariners on the scoreboard, contributing four tallies on nine shots. 

• Jaden Wells chipped in two assists and four ground balls for the Eagles. 

• Ragaglia recorded a career-high 18 saves in the loss for the green and gold, while Garrett Ruskowski stopped 14 shots for the home team.
