Box Score FRANKLIN, Mass.—Husson (2-4, NAC 1-0) was defeated by Dean (8-1, 0-0) 14-6 in non-conference lacrosse action Wednesday afternoon.
Husson fell into a 2-0 hole in the first quarter with Ben Sikes recording two goals in a six-minute span for Dean.
The Bulldogs would go on to score three more unanswered goals in the second quarter, two from Colin Hinrichs, and a third from Sikes to extend their lead to 5-0.
The Eagles stopped the bleeding and hopped onto the board 6:28 into the second quarter with a goal from
Zach Glazier, but Dean answered with a goal of their own just five minutes later from Anthony Trasacco.
With just 1:29 remaining in the half Husson gained key momentum on a goal from
Chad Merrill that cut the lead to just four for Dean heading into halftime.
Husson used that momentum at the end of the first half to start out strong in the third quarter. A goal by
Zach Glazier, his second of the game, cut the lead to just three, and just 1:48 later
Jacob Boothby notched another score for the Eagles to make it 6-4.
This was as close as Husson would get however, as the Bulldogs would score four unanswered goals before Husson added two more goals in the fourth quarter, Boothby's second of the game and a score from
Mitch Spurr.

Nick Zavorotny recorded 20 saves in the game against 14 goals. Dean goalie Jake Anderson stopped 12 shots while surrendering six goals.
The Eagles will be back in action Sat Apr. 8 for some conference action at Castleton State.
