Women's Swimming & Diving Wins Third Straight Over Rhode Island College, 103-67

BANGOR, Maine - The Husson University Women's swimming & diving team defeated Rhode Island College, 103-67 at Webber Pool on Saturday afternoon for their third dual-meet win of 2016-17.

THE RUNDOWN:

  • The quartet of Amber Britton, Leslie Donlin, Lara Sarett and Keeli Wood combined to win in the 200 Medley relay with a time of 2:11.67.
  • Ashley Clark, Kassidy Harris, Lizzy Small and Amanda Marcus swam together in an exhibition 200 Medley relay team (2:20.38).
  • Natalie Champagne, Kelsey Poland, Megan Johnston and Madison Cole swam together in an exhibition 200 Medley relay team (2:34.97).
  • Ashleigh Beaudoin swam exhibition in the 1000 Free (15:06.24) and placed second in the 500 Free (7:33.81).
  • Meghan Dube swam exhibition in the 1000 Free (16:09.04).
  • Sarett won the 200 Free (2:14.76) and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (30.00).
  • Clark swam exhibition in the 200 Free (2:20.38) and the 50 Fly (33.61), while finishing second in the 100 Free (1:06.39).
  • Donlin swam exhibition in the 200 Free (2:23.37), won the 100 Back (1:15.42) and finished second in the 100 IM (1:14.04).
  • Macy Mansir swam exhibition in the 200 Free (2:39.76), the 50 Free (35.84), and the 500 Free (7:07.07).
  • Marcus swam exhibition in the 200 Free (2:53.12) and the 100 Free (1:17.96).
  • Sarah Wilson swam exhibition in the 200 Free (3:07.56) and the 500 Free (8:23.70).

  • Wood won the 50 Breast (35.62) and the 100 Free (1:04.04).
  • Harris swam exhibition in the 50 Breast (37.57) and took second in the 100 Breast (1:22.35).
  • Small placed second in the 100 Fly (1:18.39), swam exhibition in the 100 Back (1:18.58) and took third in the 100 IM (1:18.34).
  • Britton won the 50 Free (30.34) and swam exhibition in the 50 Fly (34.70).
  • Poland swam exhibition in the 50 Free (33.42) and the 100 Breast (1:31.94).
  • Mansir, Britton, Cole, and Wood swam together to win the 200 Free relay (2:10.72).
  • The quartet of Marcus, Harris, Beaudoin and Champagne finished second in the 200 Free relay with a time of 2:15.65.
  • The group of Sarett, Wilson, Clark and Johnston swam together in an exhibition 200 Free relay team with a time of 2:07.49.

The Eagles will return to pool on January 21, 2017 when they host Colby-Sawyer for a 12 p.m. dual meet.
