BANGOR, Maine - The Eagles finished second in the third annual Husson Invitational inside Newman Gymnasium. The Eagles lost their first match Saturday to Maine-Fort Kent, 3-1, before winning their final match in pool play against Unity (Maine), 3-2. In the championship game, coach Jodie Fairbank's squad again lost to Maine-Fort Kent, 3-0.

The Eagles lost the first match to Maine-Fort Kent by scores of 17-25, 12-25, 25-23 and 16-25. Fairbank's team defeated the Rams by scores of 25-18, 23-25, 26-28, 25-10 and 15-12 before losing the title game 14-25, 13-25 and 13-25.

Bailey Cote and Lindsay Chapman of Husson (3-2) were named to the All-Tournament Team.
