Box Score BANGOR, ME - The Husson University women's soccer game lost a tough match to Colby-Sawyer 2-1 on Saturday evening at Boucher Field. The Eagles fall to 2-4-0 overall and 0-1-0 in NAC play while Colby-Sawyer goes to 2-5-0 and 1-0-0 in league play.
The Chargers took the lead in the 51st minute when there was a scramble in front of the net and Rachel Quaye's shot deflected off an Eagles defender and went in.
Desir'ee Hamler (Franklin, NJ) tied it eight minutes later when she took a feed from Kirsten Wood and hit a perfectly placed ball into the upper right corner from 25 yards out.
Colby-Sawyer converted the game-winner off a corner as Tallon Tomasi was able to knock it in from Lizzie Joergensen.
Jess Poulin (Albion, ME) made 10 saves in net for Husson while Karley Hamilton made five for Colby-Sawyer.
Colby-Sawyer outshot Husson 24-12.
Husson returns to the pitch on Saturday at Lyndon St. at 3:30 p.m.
