"Maine Maritime played very well tonight and executed a great game plan," said Husson head coach Marsh Gray. "It was a hard fought game to the very end and we're proud of the effort that our players gave tonight. Several players stepped up for us on offense tonight, but our inability to stay out of the penalty box on defense led to a variety of undesirable results."
The Eagles will look to rebound quickly as they will host NAC rival Castleton on Saturday, April 12th.
