Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

Bangor, ME - In yet another North Atlantic Conference (NAC) doubleheader Wednesday at the Winkin Complex, the Eagles took two from the Thomas Terriers by finals of 6-0 and 10-0. Husson used just four pitchers on the evening, allowing only eight total hits while walking four.

Game 1:

Husson scored the only run it would need in the bottom of the third of game one as Cody McInnis scored on a Pat Thibodeau single up the middle to make it 1-0.

Husson tacked on three more in the fourth frame. Jordan Carter singled through the left side plating Kyle Bishop, followed quickly with Carter scoring a run of his own on a Thibodeau single. Advancing on the play was Foster and Cody McInnis, who scored soon thereafter on a single for J.T. Whitten through the right side to push the Eagles lead to 4-0.

Thibodeau added two more RBI in the sixth of Thomas starter James McLamb. Thibodeau went 3-4 in the two-spot for Husson, driving in four runs to lead the home charge.

Tim Nason went the distance for Husson, tossing seven scoreless innings, allowing just five hits and two free passes. Nason moves to 3-0 in 2014.

McLamb picked up the loss for Thomas, going all six for the Terriers while allowing six runs (all earned) on 11 hits and three walks while striking out one.

Tim Locke went 2-3 for Thomas in the losing effort as the designated hitter out of the fifth spot in the order.

Game 2:

The Eagles scored all the runs they'd need in the first inning en route to a 10-0 victory in game two. Josh Gaudette went 1-2 with a walk, three RBI and a triple to lead the Eagles.

Kyle Bishop (two RBI), Dylan Foster (one RBI, three runs) and Pat Thibodeau (one RBI) all had two hits for Husson in the win. Andrew Curran also made his presence felt, driving in two runs of his own while going 1-3.

Ryan Rebar earned his second win of the season for Husson. The first-year pitcher allowed just five base runners on three hits and two walks while fanning two. Evan Pelkey and Kyle McLain both pitched a clean inning each with McLain striking out two in the seventh.

Charged with the loss for Thomas was Tim Locke (1-2) who went just an inning and a third. Locke allowed eight runs on six hits and two walks, while striking out one. CJ Pendleton and Isiah Fleming also went an inning and third for the Terriers. Pendleton allowed two more runs on four hits while Fleming looked solid, allowing just a hit with three K's. Joseph Hersom finished out the game for the guests, giving up just a hit in two innings.

"We played extremely well in all areas tonight," Husson manager Jason Harvey mentioned after the game. "We got two great pitching performances from Nason and Rebar and came up with some timely hitting with two outs. I'm proud of the way our guys came in energized and locked in to the game."
