Box Score Leicester, MA- Husson University defeated Becker College 9-0 in non-conference women's field hockey action at Alumni Field.
Husson sophomore Elizabeth Noddin (Skowhegan, ME) led the eagles with three goals, all coming in the first half of play. Sabrina Vaillancourt (Newport, ME) and Emily Murphy (Leeds, ME.) chipped in with two goals each. Senior Lori Hiltz (Norridgewock, ME) and freshman Amanda Stubbs (Keene, NH) each had a goal to finish out the scoring for the Eagles.
Husson goalkeeper Kristen Capen (Leeds, ME) earned the win, playing all but 11:35 of the second half. The victory lifts Husson to 5-1 on the season. Becker goalkeeper Samantha-Jo Dilkes (Little Falls, NJ) made ten saves.
With the win, the Eagles improve to 5-1 on the season, and Husson will return to action next Saturday when they host North Atlantic Conference rival Rivier at 6:00 pm. The loss drops Becker to 1-6 on the year and the Hawks play again on Thursday when they host the Lancers of Worcester State.
