With the wins, Husson improves to 4-2 in conference play, pushing them into a tie with Thomas atop the conference. Head Coach Jason Harvey was happy with the way his team played in today's double header, "Today was a big step forward, it's always nice to pick up a couple of conference wins. After a three game skid, everything started to turn around today. We limited our strikeouts today, which was a good sign as we move forward in conference." The Eagles return to action tomorrow when they host a Saturday afternoon double header with the Hornets of Lyndon State College. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 pm tomorrow with the estimated start time for game two at 2:30 pm.
