The Husson University Eagles defeated Johnson State 11-7 in the first round of the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's lacrosse tournament.  Husson's Ben Landry (So., Lewiston, ME) scored 6 goals in the win.  With the loss, the Badgers end their season with a 4-8 record (4-6 NAC).  Husson improves to 10-7 (7-2 NAC) and will face the winner of a contest between Castleton in the semifinals and Thomas on May 5.

Landry notched the first goal of the day for the Eagles five minutes into the first period.  Johnson State's Justin Connolly (So., Jeffersonville, VT) answered with an unassisted goal.  The Eagles and Badgers would continue to trade goals throughout the first period and into the second period.  At the half, Huson led 4-3.

The Eagles would not relinquish the lead, ending the game with an 11-7 victory.
