CHICOPEE, Mass. -Husson (1-6) earned a close 64-58 victory over
St. Joseph (0-8) in the final matchup of the double dual meet. Elms
earned a 77-45 victory over St. Joseph and a 78-44 decision over
Husson to improve to 9-5 on the season. Elms College swept Husson
University and St. Joseph's College in Saturday morning's women's
double dual meet at Partyka Natatorium.
Husson received first place finishes from Erin Doucette
(Hampden, Maine) in the 100-meter backstroke (1:16.91) and
Amanda Mason (Dexter, Maine) who tallied a time of
5:16.73 in the 400-meter freestyle.
The Eagles return to action on Friday, Feb. 19-20 at the
New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association
(NEISDA) Championships in White River Junction, V.T.
