Box Score Bangor, ME - Husson University Men's Lacrosse picked up a 14-6 win over Anna Maria College in the Eagles first ever contest. Ben Landry (FY, Lewiston, ME) paced the Eagles with four goals and two assists.
Anna Maria scored the first goal but the Eagles would score the next three goals to take a 3-1 lead at the end of the first period. The Eagles outscored Anna Maria 6-3 in the second period to take a 9-3 lead at half.
Nick Brown (FY, Sabattus, ME) scored three goals and had three assists for Husson. Anthony Diaz (FY, Brunswick, ME) scored two goals and had three assists and Ryan Lapham (SO, Medway, MA) chipped in with two goals. Sam Smith (FY, Rockport, ME), Kyle Dwyer (FY, Brunswick, ME) and Chris Lloyd (FY, Oxford, ME) rounded out the scoring for the Eagles.
Anna Maria was led by Mike Saulnier (FY, Wrentham, MA) who had two goals and an assist. Joe Fedullo, (SO, Middleton, MA) Grant Pilkington (FY, Warwick, MA), JC Crowley (FY, Wantagh, NY) and Bobby Kilroy (SO, Wrentham, MA) all scored one goal for Anna Maria College.
The Eagles will host Lyndon State on March 21st, at 1:00 pm while Anna Maria host Lasell College on March 16th at 3:30 pm.
