Alex Gordon enters his third season at the helm of the women's volleyball program in 2023 and has guided the Eagles to back-to-back playoff appearances, including a North Atlantic Conference East Division Runner-Up performance in his first season.
Gordon was named the head coach at Husson University on March 14, 2022, after serving as an assistant coach at Minot State University.
While at Minot State, Gordon worked defensive progress and the teams serve and serve receive. He also spent time working with outside hitters, helping the team increase both its hitting percentage and aces per set.
Prior to Minot State, Gordon worked as an assistant coach at Assumption College where he worked with blockers, helping to improve the teams blocks per set to top five in the conference in just one season.
Gordon has coached high school and club volleyball since 2010 working in five different states with various age groups and skill levels and holds both an impact certification and NCAA DII certification.
A 2015 graduate of the University of Vermont, Gordon majored in biology with a minor in Japanese.
