Biography

2017: Played in 36 games as a freshman with 29 starts at first base and two at third base and as the designated player...hit .343 (35-for-102) with 16 runs, six doubles, seven homers, 27 RBI...posted a .608 slugging percentage with a .385 OBP and a .993 OPS…made nine errors in 204 total chances for a solid .956 fielding percentage…led the team in homers and RBI as a rookie...led the NAC in homeruns and ranked second in the conference in RBI...set the school’s freshman record for homeruns with seven - the second most homers in a single-season...tied the single-game record for homeruns with two at Colby on March 31st, becoming the first freshman in program history to hit two homers in a single-game...hit the game-winning two-run shot at Castleton on April 29th helping Husson earn a split with the Spartans...finished the season with ten multiple-hit games and eight multiple RBI games - the most on the team...recorded her first collegiate hit and multi-hit game in a game against Milwaukee School of Engineering on March 4...notched her first collegiate extra-base hit as a homerun versus Mitchell on March 7th...collected two NAC Player and Rookie of the Week and ECAC Player of the Week honors and First Team All-NAC accolades - the fourth rookie to be selected to the first team since Husson joined the NCAA in 2004 and the first since 2010...earned All-ECAC second team honors - third player in program history to earn All-ECAC honors and the first since 2014..

Before Husson: Played varsity softball at Vergennes Union High School for four years, making the All-Metro All Star Team three out of the four years... Made the South Team for the Vermont North/South Classic Game her senior year... Named MVP for her team, respectively, as she batted .522 with 32 RBIs, .630 on base percentage, 24 hits, and three homeruns her senior season.

Personal: Born in Burlington, Vermont... Daughter of Elroy and Laurie Aunchman... Majoring in Physical Therapy.
