Biography

Personal: Born on August 14th, 1989 in Blue Hill, ME... Daughter of Michael and Lucinda Sargent, sister of teammate Lona Sargent... Majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality Management

2011: Did not play 2011 season due to an injury

2010: Appeared in 36 games with 28 starts. Finished the season hitting .231, with 6 doubles and 2 homeruns. Had a 3-run homerun against Bates on April 6th and went 5 for 7 in a doubleheader against Johnson State on April 11th. Had a multi-hit game in the season opener against UT Dallas. Threw 91 innings on the season, posting a 10-6 win-loss record. Threw a complete game no-hitter on May 1st vs Maine Maritime Academy to help advance the Eagles to their 2nd NCAA Regional in as many years. Earned Norht Atlantic Conference Pitcher of the Week honors the week of May 3rd. Was named to the NAC All-Tournament team, and collected NAC First Team All-Conference honors for the second consecutive year.

2009: Appeared in 40 out of 42 games, starting in 38 of those. Finished the season with a .333 batting average and a .577 slugging percentage. Led the Eagles in homeruns (7) and fielding percentage (.991). Had multi-hit games against Ferrum (Mar. 5), Bluffton (Mar. 6), St. Benedict's (Mar. 7), St. Francis College (Mar. 7), Keene State (Apr.5), Thomas (Apr. 11), Maine Maritime (Apr. 22), Lyndon State (Apr. 25), Johnson State (Apr. 26) and Maine-Farmington (May 1). Pitched 114 innings, with 79 strikeouts with an opposing batting average of .299. Finished the season with a 13-6 record and a 3.91 ERA. Named Most Valuable Player in the North Atlantic Conference Championship Tournament, contributing both on the mound and at the plate. Went 4-10 at the plate, including 2 homeruns and 7 RBI. On the mound, she allowed only 3 earned runs in 12.1 innings pitched. Also earned the honor of being named to the NAC All-Conference First Team.

2008: Appeared in 6 games, starting in 3 of them. Finished with a 2-1 record while pitching 24 innings for the Eagles. Recorded 17 strikeouts, and finished the season with a 2.66 ERA.
