Kylie Libby joined the Husson University softball program as an assistant coach in 2024, working with the catchers, fielders and hitters.  

CAREER AT A GLANCE:
  • Since joining the coaching staff prior to the 2024 season, Libby has helped the Eagles to one North Atlantic Conference Championship, an NCAA Regional appearance and an NCAA Regional runner-up finish in 2024.
  • At Husson, Libby has helped the Eagles to a 37-6 (.860) overall record, including a 12-0 (1.000) mark in North Atlantic Conference games.
  • Libby has coached one North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year selection - Kenzie Dore (2024).
  • Libby has tutored one North Atlantic Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player - Kenzie Dore (2024).
  • Has guided one Maine College Baseball & Softball Association State Player of the Year winner - Kenzie Dore (2024).
  • Has tutored four Maine College Baseball & Softball Association All-State selections - Tori Exel (2024) and Kenzie Dore (2024).
  • Has coached numerous North Atlantic Conference All-Conference members - Kenzie Dore (2024), Bulla McCabe (2024), Lydia Rice (2024), Julia Gregoire (2024), Tori Exel (2024) and Josie Cornell (2024).
  • Has worked with two NCAA Regional All-Tournament team members - Bulla McCabe (2024) and Kenzie Dore (2024).
  • Has mentored one Clara Swan Female Athlete of the Year winner - Kenzie Dore (2023-24).

COACHING TIMELINE:
  • 2024-Present: Husson University (Assistant Softball Coach).
  • 2022: Bangor High School (Assistant Varsity Softball Coach).
  • 2012-Present: Private Catching Coach (Bangor Area).

ATHLETIC CAREER:
  • Libby played two seasons at Husson from 2017-19 after transferring from the University of Maine at Farmington.
  • At Husson, Libby tallied 37 hits, six doubles, 16 RBI's and five stolen bases. 
  • Libby played two season at UMF from 2015-17, earning North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week honors, second team all-conference (2016) and first team honors in 2017. 
  • At Bangor High School (2011-15) Libby earned Maine Senior All-Star Team honors and a Maine-NH All-Star Team selection. 

PERSONAL:
  • A native of Bangor, Maine (Bangor High School).
  • A 2019 graduate of Husson, Libby earned a bachelor of science in psychology and a master of science in human relations from Husson in 2021.
  • Lives in Milford, Maine with her husband, Griffin, and dog, Abel.
  • Currently works in Husson University's Financial Aid Office as a financial aid counselor.
