Amy LeBlanc

Amy LeBlanc joined the Husson University softball program as an assistant coach in 2023.

In addition to serving as an assistant coach under interim head coach Rick Roberts, LeBlanc works as a nurse at the Husson wellness center.

CAREER AT A GLANCE:
  • Since joining the coaching staff prior to the 2023 season, LeBlanc has helped the Eagles to two North Atlantic Conference Championships, two NCAA Regional appearances and one NCAA Regional runner-up finish in 2024.
  • At Husson, LeBlanc has helped the Eagles to a 67-20-1 (.767) overall record, including a 22-0 (1.000) mark in North Atlantic Conference games.
  • LeBlanc has coached one North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year selection - Kenzie Dore (2024).
  • LeBlanc has guided one North Atlantic Conference Pitcher of the Year winner - Ana Lang (2024).
  • LeBlanc has mentored one North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Year honoree - Ana Lang (2024).
  • LeBlanc has tutored two North Atlantic Conference Tournament Most Valuable Players - McKenna Smith (2023) and Kenzie Dore (2024).

  • Has coached numerous North Atlantic Conference All-Conference members - Kenzie Dore (2023, 2024), Katie Raymond (2023), McKenna Smith (2023), Olivia McCarty (2023), Teagan Blackie (2023), Bulla McCabe (2023, 2024), Jill Bisson (2023), Lydia Rice (2024), Julia Gregoire (2024), Danielle Masterson (2024), Ana Lang (2024), Tori Exel (2024) and Josie Cornell (2024).
  • Has worked with multiple NCAA Regional All-Tournament team members - Katie Raymond (2023), Bulla McCabe (2024), Kenzie Dore (2024) and Ana Lang (2024).
  • Has mentored two Clara Swan Female Athlete of the Year winner - McKenna Smith (2022-23) and Kenzie Dore (2023-24).

ATHLETIC CAREER:
  • LeBlanc was a three-sport athlete at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, playing women's soccer, women's basketball and softball from 2008-12.
  • In 158 career softball games, LeBlanc batted .318 with 139 hits, 100 runs scored, 10 home runs, 22 doubles, 16 triples, 92 RBI’s, 52 walks and 47 stolen bases.
  • On the hardwood, LeBlanc registered 685 points, 288 rebounds, 98 steals, 150 assists, and 23 blocks in 112 career contests.
  • On the pitch, LeBlanc played in 27 games for the Polar Bears.
  • LeBlanc helped the Polar Bears capture the 2008-09 New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Championship, while earning four trips to the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship tournament during her 4-year career on the Polar Bear hardwood.
  • Served as team captain for the 2012 Polar Bear softball team.
  • Earned two New England Small College Athletic Conference All-Conference softball Selections and All-Region honors from the New England Softball Coaches Association and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
 
PERSONAL:
  • A native of Bangor, Maine (Bangor High School).
  • Named Miss Maine Softball in 2008.
  • Earned her bachelor of science in neuroscience from Bowdoin College in 2012.
  • Earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2016.
  • Resides in Bangor, Maine with her husband Kyle.
