Mitch Moczygemba joined the Husson University men's soccer coaching staff in the fall of 2023 and currently serves as the sport performance coach.

In addition to his men's soccer duties, Moczygemba also serves as an assistant coach for the Husson men's and women's cross country coach and the men's and women's track & field programs. Additionally, Moczygemba serves as the director of strength & conditioning at Husson.

CAREER AT A GLANCE:

  • Since joining the men's soccer program's coaching staff, Moczygemba has helped the Eagles to a 13-5-3 (.690) overall record, including a 7-1 (.875) mark in North Atlantic Conference games.
  • Moczygemba has guided the men's soccer team to a North Atlantic Conference East Division championship since his arrival.
  • Has coached multiple North Atlantic Conference All-Conference selections - Mario Alvarez (2023), Pedro Molina (2023), Mosi Masimango (2023), Alex Rechsteiner (2023), Alex Bryant (2023) and Miguel Morales (2023).

ATHLETIC CAREER:
  • Moczygemba was a two-year member of the Nova Southeastern University track & field program from 2019-20.
  • Earned 2019-20 Nova Southeastern University Male Scholar Athlete of the Year.
  • Named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team twice..
  • Served as throws captain during the 2019-20 season.

PERSONAL:
  • Native of Medford, Ore. (St. Mary's High School).
  • Earned his bachelors of science in business administration sport and recreation management from Nova Southeastern University in 2020.
  • Earned his masters of business administration from Hardin-Simmons University in 2021.
