Mac Shea joined the Husson University men's basketball program as an assistant coach in August of 2024.

CAREER AT A GLANCE:
  • Since joining the Husson coaching staff in the summer of 2024, Shea has helped lead the Eagles to one North Atlantic Conference Championship, one NCAA Tournament Appearance and a 37-18 (.673) overall record, including a 27-4 (.871) mark in North Atlantic Conference games.
  • Shea has guided one North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year winner - Riles Neff (2024-25)
  • Shea has worked with one North Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Year - Gil Matondo (2025-26).
  • Shea has coached one North Atlantic Conference Tournament MVP - Riles Neff (2024-25)
  • Shea has tutored multiple North Atlantic Conference All-Conference selections - Riles Neff (2024-25), Jeremy Moronta (2024-25), Scott Lewis (2024-25), Eric Ahlers (2025-26), Andre McCauley (2025-26), Connor Heald (2025-26) and Gil Matondo (2025-26)

PERSONAL: 
  • A native of Bar Harbor, Maine (Mount Desert Island High School).
  • Shea graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor of science in kinesiology with a focus in sport psychology, in addition to a master of business administration with a focus in leadership from Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
