Luke Caruso joined the Husson University men's basketball program as an assistant coach prior to the 2025-26 season.

Since joining coach Caruso's staff before the 2025-26 season, Caruso has helped lead the Eagles to a 16-10 (.615) record, including a 15-3 (.833) mark in NAC games.
Caruso has coached multiple North Atlantic Conference All-Conference selections - Eric Ahlers (2025-26), Connor Heald (2025-26), Andre McCauley (2025-26) and Gil Matondo (2025-26).
Caruso has guided one North Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Year honoree - Gil Matondo (2025-26).
Caruso has mentored one Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association All-State selection - Eric Ahlers (2025-26).

ATHLETIC CAREER:

Caruso was a three-year letterwinner for the Husson University men's basketball team from 2021-24.
Caruso finished his career with 182 points, 88 rebounds, 25 assists, 23 steals and five blocks over 67 career games played.
The Eagles complied a 51-29 record during Caruso's three years as a player, while also capturing two North Atlantic Conference titles and making two NCAA tournament appearances.
Off the court, Caruso was a three-time National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court recipient and a two-time NAC Winter/Spring All-Academic Team member, while being named to the NAC Sportsmanship Team during the 2023-24 season.
