Chris Bryant enters his seventh season as a men’s basketball assistant coach in 2022-23 and serves as director of day clinics & camps, academic officer and recruiting coordinator.

CAREER AT A GLANCE:

• Since joining the Eagles coaching staff prior to the 2016-17 season, Bryant has helped lead the Eagles to three North Atlantic Conference Championships, three NCAA Division III Men's Basketball National Championship appearances and a 107-63 (.629) overall record with an impressive 70-20 (.778) mark in North Atlantic Conference contests.
• Has coached two North Atlantic Conference Player of the Year selections - Raheem Anderson (2016-17, 2017-18)
• Has worked with one North Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Year - Justin Martin (2016-17)
• Has directed three North Atlantic Conference Tournament Most Valuable Players - Raheem Anderson (2016-17), Justin Martin (2018-19), Justice Kendall (2021-22).
• Has tutored one Eastern College Athletic Conference New England Division III Player of the Year - Raheem Anderson (2016-17)
• He has guided four Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association All-State selections - Raheem Anderson ( 2017-18), Justin Martin (2018-19), DJ Bussey (2021-22), Justin Thompson (2021-22).
• Has mentored three Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association All-Rookie Team honorees - DJ Bussey (2017-18), Justice Kendall (2018-19), Scott Lewis (2019-20).
• He has coached two Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association All-State selections All-State Defensive Team selections - Justin Maritin (2017-18), Justice Kendall (2021-22).
• Has worked with one Maine Men's Basketball Coaches and Writers Association Player of the Year - Raheem Anderson (2017-18).
• Bryant has helped developed multiple All-North Atlantic Conference, d3Hoops.com All-Region, Eastern College Athletic Conference All-New England honorees.
• Has coached one d3Hoops.com All-American - Raheem Anderson (2016-17).
• Bryant has coached one Husson Del Merrill Athlete of the Year - Justin Martin (2018-19).

• A native of Freedom, Maine (Mount View High School).
• Earned a bachelor of science in diagnostic genetic science from the University of Connecticut in 2005.
• Earned a a masters of science in education from the University of Southern Maine in 2012.
• He has worked both in the field of genetics and most recently as a biology teacher at Bangor High School.
• He currently resides in Bangor, Maine with his wife, Emily and their two children, Zoey and Miles.
