Brad Libby enters his sixth season as a men’s basketball assistant coach in 2017-18.

In 2015-16, Libby helped guide the Eagles to their third North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship and trip to the NCAA DIII Championship Tournament since joining the staff prior to the 2012-13 season. Over that time frame, Libby has contiuned to contributed to the winning tradition of the Husson men’s basketball program that has resulted in four winning seasons with a combined 87-27 record, while coaching two NAC Players of the Years, one NAC Defensive Player of the Year, three Conference Tournament MVPs, and nine All-Conference, eight Conference All-Tournament Team, four NABC Honors Court, one NABC and d3Hoops.com All-Northeast Region Team, one All-State Rookie Team and six All-State selections.

Prior to joining the Eagle coaching staff, Libby was a four-year letterwinner as a member of the Husson men’s basketball team as a guard from 2009-12 and was know for his play on the defensive end of the floor and took 50 charges throughout his college career. Libby tallied 370 points, 154 rebounds, 54 assists, 50 steals and four blocks in 75 career games played, while shooting 39.3 percent (117-for-298) from the floor, 38.3 percent (59-for-154) behind the arc and 68.1 (77-for-113) percent from the free throw line. As a senior Libby led the conference in 3-point percentage (46.4), while averaging 8.1 points per game.

Libby helped guide the Eagles to a 68-44 overall record with two NAC Regular Season titles, NAC Championships and berths to the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament in 2008-09 and 2010-11.

Off the court, Libby was named to the NABC Honors Court in 2010 and 2012, while being a recipient of the Durost Award, the Allen Kenyon Award and the Eagle Award.

Libby earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Husson in 2011 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013.

A native of Brewer, Maine, Libby attended Brewer High School.
