Tucker Buzzell Football 2024

Tucker Buzzell '24, '24G

Tucker Buzzell was hired in 2024 as an assistant coach for the Husson University football program.

In addition to serving as an assistant coach under head coach Nat Clark, Buzzell also serves as the program’s safeties coach. 

CAREER AT A GLANCE:
  • Since joining the Husson coaching staff Buzzell has helped lead the team to a 6-5 (.545) overall record, including a 3-2 (.600) mark in Conference of New England games.
  • Buzzell helped guide the Eagles to a Fusion Bowl appearance in 2024 after finishing as the CNE runner-up.

  • 2024: Husson University (Outside Linebackers Coach)
  • 2025-Present: Husson University (Safeties Coach)

ATHLETIC CAREER:
  • Buzzell was a standout inside linebacker for five seasons with the Eagles from 2019-23.
  • Buzzell appeared in 39 games while at Husson, earning earning three-straight Commonwealth Coast Conference All-Conference First Team selections, along with two-straight New England Football Writers All-New England honors, two-straight d3football.com All-Region 1 First Team selections. 
  • Buzzell was named the 2023 Commonwealth Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
  • In addition, Buzzell was also named to the Noontime Sports All-New England First Team in 2022 and the Hansen Ratings 2022 DIII All-Region 1 Second Team and was a two-year captain for the Eagles.
  • Off the field, Buzzell earned Commonwealth Coast Conference All-Academic Team honors three times, College Sports Communicators Academic All-District and was named a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American in 2023.
     
PERSONAL:
  • A native of Lovell, Maine (Fryeburg Academy)
  • Earned his bachelor's degree in sport management in May of 2024
  • Currently resides in Bangor, Maine.
