Nat Clark has served as the head coach of the Husson football program since February 2019 where he has guided the Eagles to an 29-23 (.558) overall record and an 18-11 (.621) mark against conference opponents.
In addition to his role as head coach, Clark also serves as the team's wide receivers coach with 24 years of coaching experience.
The fourth head coach in the Eagles’ 20-year history since the program was re-established after a 58-year hiatus in 2002, Clark spent 12 seasons as an assistant head football coach and was named Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Assistant Coach of the Year in 2016.
Prior to returning to Husson in 2013, Clark served as an assistant football coach at Bangor High School for four seasons from 2009-2012. Bangor reached the Class A State Championship game during the 2009 and 2010 seasons. While at Bangor, Clark also served as a physical education teacher.
Clark began his coaching career at Bangor High School before coming to Husson in 2002. The Bangor, Maine native was a four-year member of the University of Maine football program graduating in 2000 with a bachelor's of science in physical eduction. Clark earned his master's degree in educational leadership from Maine in 2012.
Clark and his wife, Jill — who is a first grade teacher in the Bangor School system — reside in Bangor with their children, Max, Landon and Avery.
