Husson University

Coach Magouirk joins the staff this season coming from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. Coach Magouirk spent two years as Receiver’s Coach at Lehigh. Lehigh was a nationally ranked program over the last two seasons, 23^rd in the nation 2003 and 14^th in the nation 2004.

Coach Magouirk began his coaching career at McLean High School in Washington, DC and then moved on to Saint Anselm in New Hampshire. Coach Magouirk played college football at West Alabama in 1996 & 1997 before transferring to University of South Carolina. He was a part of University of South Carolina team for three years. Over the three years at South Carolina he played for legendary Coach Lou Holtz in his final two seasons. In 2000 South Carolina was 8-4 and appeared in the Outback Bowl defeating Ohio State 24-7 for the school’s first bowl win ever.

Coach Magouirk graduated from South Carolina in 2001 with a degree in Retail Management. He attended high school at Mandeville High School in North Shore, Louisiana. Coach Magouirk is single and resides in Bangor.
