Jake Cameron was hired in 2022 as an assistant coach for the Husson University football program.

In addition to serving as an assistant coach under head coach Nat Clark, Cameron also serves as the program's offensive line coach, after previously serving as the wide receivers coach. 

CAREER AT A GLANCE:

  • Since joining Coach Clark's staff in 2022, Cameron has helped the Eagles to a 18-14 (.563) overall record, including a 10-6 (.625) mark in conference games.
  • Cameron guided the Eagles to a New England Bowl Game appearance in 2022 and a Fusion Bowl appearance in 2024.
  • Cameron has developed numerous all-conference selections - Jon Bell (2022), Cullen Casey (2022 & 2023), Hayden Fielder (2023), John Dugan (2024) and Jade Hutchinson (2023, 2024).
  • Cameron has worked with one d3football.com All-Region selection - Cullen Casey (2023).
  • Has worked with one Hansen Ratings All-Region honoree - Cullen Casey (2023).

ATHLETIC CAREER:
  • Cameron was a standout offensive lineman for five seasons with the Eagles from 2017-2021.
  • Cameron appeared in 43 games while at Husson, earning two-straight Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) All-Conference First Team selections, one Commonwealth Coast Conference First Team selection, as well as a second team selection in 2021.
  • In addition, Cameron was also named a freshman All-American in 2017 and was a three-year captain for the Eagles.
  • Adding on to his stellar freshman campaign in 2017, Cameron was named to the Noontime Sports All-New England Team and also earned a spot on the All-ECAC Team.
  • Off the field, Cameron earned CCC All-Academic Team honors in the fall of 2021 and was named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society that same season.

PERSONAL:
  • A native of Conway, N.H.
  • Earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice in December of 2021 and a certificate UG in counter terrorism and security.
  • Currently resides in Bangor, Maine.
