Jacolby Maxwell joins the Husson football coaching staff in 2021 for his first season as the Wide Receivers Coach.
Maxwell recently worked at Greenville University as a graduate assistant and wide receivers coach in 2020.
Prior to GU, Maxwell spent the summer working with his former high school, Aurora Christian, specifically working with the wide receivers. In his time as a player at Aurora Christian, Maxwell had the privilege to learn under, and play for former NFL wideout Don Beebe.
Maxwell graduated from Monmouth College in 2019, where he played wide receiver for three seasons and earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. While at Monmouth, he was able to be a part of two conference championships and be named first team all-conference in 2018. Maxwell finished in Monmouth's top-five in career receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns in his time as a Fighting Scot.
Most recently, he finished his last year of collegiate football at Aurora University in 2019 where he also took some graduate courses. In his time as a Spartan, Maxwell was named the offensive MVP, first team all-conference, and second team all-region. He now holds the single season record in receptions, reception yards, and career touchdowns.
Maxwell, born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, now resides in Maine.
