Greg Vreeland has served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach of the Husson University football program since July of 2024.

CAREER AT A GLANCE: 
  • Since joining the Husson coaching staff, Vreeland has helped the Eagles to a 6-5 (.545) overall record, including a 3-2 (.600) mark in Conference of New England games.
  • Vreeland helped guide the Eagles to a Fusion Bowl appearance in 2024 after finishing as the CNE runner-up.
  • Vreeland has coached numerous Conference of New England All-Conference selections - Jed Lober (2024), Nason Berthelette (2024), Ja'Quan Myles (2024), Cullen Casey (2024), Jade Hutchinson (2024) and John Dugan (2024).
  • While at Hartwick, Vreeland coached three All-Empire 8 selections - Justin Lobasso (2021, 2022) and Nate Rath (2023).
  • At Norwich, Vreeland guided Mani Romero, who became the first preseason All-American in school history (2020), in addition to being named the Joe Zabilski award winner in 2019 (Best D2/D3 player in New England), the NEWMAC offensive player of the year (2018), the golden helmet winner (2018), a two-time All-NEWMAC selection and the program record holder for most receiving yards in a game (2018).
  • Also at Norwich, Vreeland mentored Trevor Chase to a NEWMAC rookie of the year award in 2019 and the school record for most catches in a game that same year, in addition to leading Lavonte Deciues to a rookie of the year selection in 2018.
  • While at MIT, Vreeland led John Robinson to a first team All-NEWMAC selection in 2017.
  • At East Coast Prep, Vreeland coached Sam Franklin in 2015, who was the first NFL player in the history of East Coast Prep.
  • Vreeland coached Kevin Alberque, the ECFC offensive player of the year at Castleton in 2014.

ATHLETIC CAREER: 
  • As a player, Vreeland was a four-year letter winner as a member of the Vermont State University Castleton football program as a quarterback from 2009-12.

PERSONAL: 
  • A native of Becket, Mass.
  • Vreeland earned a bachelor of science in physical education from Vermont State University Castleton in 2014 and a master of business administration from Norwich University in 2021.
