Husson University

Fred Lower enters his third straight and sixth overall season as the Husson outside wide receivers coach in 2015.

Lower served as the Eagles offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for three seasons from 2002-04.

Lower had served as the offensive coordinator at his alma mater, Bangor High School, in two stints from 1994-2001 and 2007-11. He is currently a history teacher at the school.

Lower earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Maine in 2006 and is pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership.

A native of Bangor, Maine, Lower was a three-year letterwinner on Bangor’s football team from 1986-88 and was named a team captain.

Fred and his wife, Lisa live in Bangor, Maine with their two daughters, Alexis and McKenzie.
