2018: The sophomore pitcher started seven of the eight games he appeared in...went 0-6 on year with a handful of two or less run loss starts...posted an impressive 2.95 ERA in 42.2 innings pitched, fanning 33 and walking just three batters...had an impressive opponent batting average of .242, a WHIP of 1.01, and a K/9 of 6.96...set the program's single-season records for the lowest walks per nine innings with a 0.63 and the highest strikeout-to-walk ratio with a 11.00 to become the first player in program history to record a double-digit K/BB ratio...The previous K/BB ratio record of 6.70 stood for 51 years...led the team in ERA, innings, strikeouts, H/9 (8.43), BB/9, and WHIP...batted .000 (0-5) with a run and a walk...In his first outing of the season on March 7th against Coe College, went nine innings, allowed two runs and fanned eight in a losing effort...on April 7th versus New England College, he started and went seven innings, while allowing two runs, no walks and striking out ten in a losing effort.
2017: Appeared in nine games on the mound as a freshman, including five starts...posted a 2-2 record with a 3.26 ERA, a 7.21 strikeouts per nine, a 1.86 walks per nine, a WHIP of 1.24, one save, and one complete game...had an impressive opponent batting average of .255...tied for second on the team with 31 punch-outs...walked only eight batters in 38.2 innings...Allowed just one run in six innings on April 3rd against UMaine-Farmington...In his next start on April 12th, threw a complete game shutout at Thomas (Maine), giving up just three hits and striking out nine to earn his first collegiate victory and shutout.
Before Husson: Played two years of varsity baseball at Bangor High School, winning the State Championship both years... Earned All-KVAC First Team honors his senior year... Played American Legion Baseball for the Coffee News Comrades and won two State Championships leading to Regional Berths both times... Made the All-Tourney team in back-to-back years (2016, 2017)... Named the 2017 American Legion State Tournament Most Valuable Player.
