2017-18: Played and started in 29 games last year as a junior… averaged 18.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game last season… she was 48.7% from the field with 37.9% from the three and 82.3% from the line… she recorded 47 steals last season while scoring 539 total points… Worcester had 12 20+ point games including three 30+ point games in January (36 on 1/6/18, 30 on 1/20/18 and 32 on 1/26/18)…led the Eagles' in every category except for rebounds and blocks… As a junior, she has surpassed the 1,000-career point mark and currently sits at 1,355 points - third most in program history…the fastest player in the women's program history to score 400 points in a single season, while becoming the first player surpass the 500 point-mark in 20 years…finished the season with the second most points scored in a single-season and the most by any player in 27 years… one of three players in the nation to make 20 free throws in a single-game in 2018… Led the NAC Field Goals and Free Throws made, and points while also averaging 18.6 points per game, which ranked 40th in the nation and the third highest in program history…surpassed the 1,000-career point mark (the fastest in Husson University history) and set a program record for free-throws made in a single game at MMA on 1/6/18… First female player in school history to be named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.
2016-17: Played in 28 games starting all of them…She averaged 15.4 points per game while shooting 46.1 percent from the field and 36.9 percent on three-point field goals…She also posted an 83.5 percent shooting percentage from the free throw line and averaged 4.7 rebounds per game...named NAC Player of the Week once...named to the New England Women's Basketball Honor Roll...named to the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Associations Player of the Week Honor Roll twice...named to the MWBCA All-State Second Team...named NAC Tournament MVP...
2015-16: Played in 28 games starting all of them…She averaged 13.8 points per game while shooting 46.9 percent from the field and 43.3 percent on three point field goals… She also posted an 87.8 percent shooting percentage from the free throw line and averaged 3.9 rebounds per game. Worcester was named the NAC Tournament MVP...Named to the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Rookie Team and All-NAC Second Team Honors. 2nd best 3-point field goal percentage in school history for a season with a .433.
Before Husson: Graduated Valedictorian…four State Championships in basketball, one State Championship in soccer, and one State Championship in cross country
Personal: Mackenzie Worcester from Washburn, Maine...Daughter of Larry and Kim Worcester…Her brother, Mitch, also played basketball at Husson…Majoring in Physical Therapy.
