WATERVILLE, Maine – The Central Maine Collegiate Field Hockey Conference announced its first weekly award winners of the season on Tuesday and Husson University field hockey sophomore Maddie Morin and freshman Sophia Larrabee were honored.
Morin took home player of the week honors following a two-goal, one-assist weekend in Connecticut for the Eagles in one-goal losses to the University of Saint Joseph and Eastern Connecticut State University over the weekend. Morin recorded her first two goals as an Eagle in Friday's matchup against Saint Joseph, before adding a helper in the finale of the road trip for Husson.
Larrabee was awarded rookie of the week for Husson after recording her first collegiate goal against Eastern Connecticut State, while recording two total shots on the weekend.
The Eagles return to action tonight as they head to Waterville to take on Colby College at 6 p.m.
