BANGOR, Maine – Husson University head men's and women's cross country and track & field coach Allison Kondracki announced her resignation from the university to pursue another coaching opportunity.
"Starting my coaching career at Husson has been a special experience," said Kondracki. "From starting as a student-athlete, moving to assistant coach, and then head coach of all programs, it has been a truly full circle moment. I couldn't be more grateful for all the experiences, support, mentors, friends, memories and relationships that I have created over almost a decade of being at Husson."
"Being able to give back to the program that I was once a part of has been extremely rewarding and I could not be prouder of each and every one of the athletes that have represented our teams over the years," continued Kondracki. "As I am sad to leave Husson, I know that my time here as an Eagle was special and I will never forget it. I am excited for what the future will bring and I can't wait to see what the future will bring for both cross country and track and field programs."
Kondracki took over as the head cross country and track & field coach in January of 2026 in an interim capacity, before having the interim tag removed in June of this year. Previously, Kondracki was an assistant coach on the track & field coaching staff beginning in the summer of 2022.
In her lone season as head coach, Kondracki helped Husson earn four individual NAC championships on the men's side, while capturing six individual titles on the women's side, in addition to Abigail Conlogue becoming the first women's track & field athlete to score at the New England Championships since 2016.
As an assistant coach, Kondracki primarily worked with sprinters and jumpers and has guided eight all-conference selections in her time on the staff with the women's team, in addition to three all-conference performers on the men's side.
As a student-athlete, Kondracki competed from 2017-22 on the women's track & field team, in addition to running one season of cross country in 2021, as the Eagles captured conference titles in 2018 and 2021 with Kondracki on the squad.
Individually, Kondracki was named the 2018 NAC Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Year, while also earning all-conference accolades eight times during career, in addition to having four individual times/distances that rank inside the top 10 all-time in program history in multiple events.
Off the track, Kondracki was named to the NAC Sportsmanship Team in 2022 and was also named to the NAC Winter/Spring All-Academic Team that same year.

"Her connection to Husson goes well beyond her time as a coach, and the commitment and passion she has shown for our student-athletes and these programs has made a lasting impact. We thank Allison for her dedication to Husson over the years and wish her nothing but the best as she takes the next step in her coaching career."
With Kondracki's departure, assistant cross country and track & field coach Jonathan Houck will take over head coaching responsibilities of the programs until a national search is finalized for the next head coach of the programs.
