LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Husson University volleyball team earned an American Volleyball Coaches Association Academic Award for 2026, as announced by the organization on Thursday.
To be eligible for consideration, teams must earn a cumulative GPA of 3.3. The Eagles posted an impressive cumulative team GPA of 3.58 with every student-athlete surpassing the 3.3 GPA mark. Inclusion in this elite group of collegiate volleyball programs means that the Eagles finished with a GPA among the top 20 percent in NCAA Women's Division III volleyball.
The AVCA Team Academic Award was established in 1992 to recognize teams that excel academically. More than 1,400 teams earned the honor this year, the highest total in the award's history.
