STANDISH, Maine – The Maine College Baseball and Softball Association named its final weekly award winners of the season for baseball on Tuesday and Husson University baseball freshman Liam Kelley was named player of the week.

Kelley hit .583 (7-for-12) with two runs scored, eight RBI, three doubles, and a home run over three games for Husson, who won its seventh-straight North Atlantic Conference title. The freshman catcher posted a .615 on-base percentage and a 1.083 slugging percentage while helping the Eagles go 3-0 on the week. Kelley delivered the biggest performance of the week in a win over SUNY Cobleskill, going 3-for-5 with six RBI, two doubles, and a home run, and finished the week with multiple hits in all three contests. For his efforts, he was selected as the NAC Tournament MVP.

The Eagles get NCAA Regional play underway on Friday when they take on No. 9 Endicott College at 11 a.m. in the Montclair Regional.
