WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference unveiled its weekly award winners for men's lacrosse on Monday and Husson University men's lacrosse senior Kiernan Field and freshman Gabe Robinson were honored.
Field picked up his fourth player of the week award after he showcased why he is one of the better players in the North Atlantic Conference this past week, as he helped lead the Eagles to two NAC wins. Field began his week with a six-goal, four-assist performance in a road win over Thomas, in which he posted the eventual game-winning goal, in addition to adding one caused turnover. To finish his week on senior day, Field recorded three goals and three assists in a dominant win over MCLA, while also recording eight ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Robinson took home his second rookie of the week honor after he showcased some elite goal-scoring ability for Husson in a 2-0 week of NAC play for the Eagles, where they remained unbeaten in conference play. Robinson began his week with a career-high four goals in a road win over Thomas College, while also adding two ground balls and two caused turnovers. To conclude his week, Robinson posted three goals and one assist for Husson in a dominant win over MCLA at home, in addition to contributing three ground balls and three caused turnovers.
The Eagles will conclude their regular season on Saturday when they host Maine Maritime Academy in a battle of unbeaten teams in the NAC at Boucher Field at 12 p.m.
